HBO's feature film Grey Gardens has led to a resurgence of attention for the original Maysles documentary about dynamic Little Edie and her mom, Big Edie. I just saw this letter on the Times blog, (they used a neat technology called iPaper) Little Edie's response to the Times' review of the film. The letter was never published in the paper. Words from a staunch character, indeed.
