I've been watching a construction site at 8th street and 7th ave in Park Slope for the past few months, and just recently some work permits were posted that indicated a new food establishment was on the way. This morning, Eater.com informs us that the 7th Avenue Donut Shop is movin on up and taking over the corner spot, from just a few doors down. And, evidently, the lowly launderette that was there previously was a HUGE deal in the laundromat world. Who knew? And who would put a kid on the Cyclone on their first day in America, after a loooooong boat trip from Ireland? Those peeps knew how to par-tay!
